The Laerdal AED Trainer 2 is a realistic and affordable AED trainer which simulates the HeartStart® FR2 AED in appearance, operation, and voice prompts, and offers an affordable alternative for educating the layperson and healthcare provider in the effective use of an automated external defibrillator.  It is 2005 Guidelines-compliant.

  • Realistic battery case simulates detachment and insertion of the HeartStart FR2 defibrillator’s battery pack

Training Pads

Philips Heartstart Adult Training Electrode Pads are designed to be used with the Philips Heartstart Trainer 2, the Philips Heartstart FR@ or FR2+ AED with Training and Administration Pack, or the older Forerunner Training Unit. These Training Electrode Pads use a low tack adhesive which makes them reusable up to 100 times, so they're economical to use for multiple training sessions. They're also perfect for use on almost any CPR manikin.

Remote control (optional)

The optional remote control allows the trainer to change scenarios from a distance and during the scenario,  Features include: speaker volume adjustment, select from 10 training scenarios (see below) and 3 custom scenarios, pause and resume scenarios for when problems arise, override scenario with choice of shockable rhythm, non-shockable rhythm, artifact, loose electrode pads, low battery, mechanical problem, illuminate LEDs in AED Little Anne manikin.  The unit runs on 4 AAA batteries (not included).
