Demand Valve Options

The Dräger Oxidem and the LSP BVM* Demand Valve are both have available different sized Bag-Valve-Mask* inlet adapters.

From left to right the part numbers are:

55-603-02 Fits Pre 2004 Laerdal Bag-Valve-Masks

55-603-03 Fits most Gale-Med Bag-Valve-Masks

Our green adapters are used by some services instead of a dedicated inlet adapters.

In early 2004 Laerdal changed their B.V.M. design.  A new rear inlet valve assembly is now being utilised.  This has caused many problems with bag refill valves and can no longer be used on the new Laerdal B.V.M.
Laerdal has recognised this and has made available the earlier style of rear inlet valve which must be used in place of the later version.
