NEANN provides a range of Mouth To Mask
resuscitators. Very simple to use both with and without additional oxygen.
These devices are based on the principle that of the 21% oxygen in normal
atmosphere, when we breath out we leave approximately
three quarters of
the oxygen or 16% in the exhaled air. Hence we can use this to
perform Expired Air Resuscitation (E.A.R.).
With the onset of awareness
of the risks of transmissible diseases
(H.I.V. Hep A, C' & B
etc., etc.) from inappropriate fluid
& matter exposure these
masks and
barriers have become accepted as minimum equipment
when attempting a
resuscitation, especially if the patient is
unknown to the rescuer
LSP Pocket Mask
The patented LSP one way valve system has minimum airway resistance and provides extremely effective patented viral and bacterial filter, which prevents air or contaminants from reaching either the rescuer or the patient. The LSP filter is strategically located above the one way valve system to prevent blood, vomit or debris from saturating the filter, thereby preventing it from becoming inoperable. The mask is equipped with a standard 22mm fitting which will allow the attachment of any standard resuscitation device. All masks come standard with an oxygen inlet which can be left blocked if not required.

- Laerdal Pocket Mask
- Probably the most famous of all variants of the pocket mask family. It is available without and with an oxygen inlet. They are packed ready to be assembled. They are available in a hard plastic clam or in a textile belt pouch.
This pocket mask combines a low resistance one way valve with a 3M Filtrete hydrophobic filter to help prevent passage of liquids and secretions.
